When Jesus talked about being poor, hungry, weeping, and mistreated, He did so with hope. He even went so far as to say those experiencing these things are blessed. But that doesn’t seem to make sense. We certainly don’t feel very hopeful or even blessed when we are in these situations. So, how is this possible?
Jesus lived among us and experienced the same problems we experience everyday. As we choose to hope in Jesus we learn to go to the Father to find comfort, guidance, peace, and love as He did. We also learn to take our focus off of the struggles here and focus on the future promises He has given.
